Thrown, built and fired in the UK, each piece is made to be used, sworn at, laughed over and loved. No two are the same, and that’s the point. This is handmade UK pottery, fired hot and finished feral — rude mugs, filthy jugs and one-off pieces made without chasing perfection or giving a shit about trends.

Bunny

Bunny is one half of Fired Up & Feral and the resident chaos goblin with clay permanently under her nails. A potter, maker and teacher, Bunny works with hand-built pottery and a firm belief that perfection is boring and beige can get in the bin.

Her work focuses on functional pots with attitude — mugs, cups, jugs and everyday objects made to be used, sworn at and occasionally admired. Wonky edges, visible fingerprints and the odd act of defiance are not flaws, they’re features. Every piece carries the evidence of how it was made, because Bunny thinks you should be able to feel the human behind the object.

Teaching is where the feral really comes out. Bunny runs workshops that are welcoming, adult-only and refreshingly free of art-school bullshit. Her approach is calm, encouraging and quietly chaotic — helping people build confidence, learn proper skills and realise they’re allowed to make things without asking permission or being “good at it”.

Fired Up & Feral exists because Bunny believes studios should be safe, inclusive places to experiment, swear a bit and make work that earns its keep. Pots should be practical. Art should have a sense of humour. And making things with your hands should feel powerful, messy and very much alive.
